Meet The Team
One of our pillars for the success of our clients is expert coaching. Meet the team of passionate expert coaches below that will make sure you achieve the health and fitness you deserve.
Stephen Tannatt Nash – Founder & Lead Exercise Physiologist
I am a fully trained and qualified sports and exercise scientist, graduating from the University of Worcester in 2015, specialising in health interventions to help diseased populations and sports interventions to improve performance in athletes. Whilst studying I also took my professional qualifications in strength and conditioning and personal training.
As a sports scientist, I have worked in a myriad of health and sporting environments from supporting local youth teams with exercise testing, such as Hereford Cathedral Rugby and Hereford County Netball Team, to working with individual Team GB and amateur triathletes, cyclists and runners providing them with nutritional, physiological and biomechanical interventions and support throughout their season.
As an exercise scientist, I have worked with hundreds of clients, providing lifestyle and health interventions to enable them to recover from surgery, disease and poor health and gain a new lease of life enabling them to create new experiences and happy memories.
In creating Faultless Fitness I have been at the forefront of innovation within the county and the UK providing a new standard of health and sports intervention available to the general public that would usually only be available to those in elite sporting environments.
I have had incredible success with clients and it has led to a brilliant and compelling career in which I am able to help people overcome their limitations and learn how to thrive, not just survive, their daily lives and sporting events.
Whilst most of my time is dedicated to innovating and improving Faultless Fitness I also have a keen interest in cycling and am hoping to compete for the first time in Triathlon. I also aim to be starting my Masters alongside my career here at Faultless.
Sian Phillips - Health & Performance Coach
Whilst studying, I played for the university’s first XI hockey team where I was lucky enough to have regular strength and conditioning sessions with the coaches at the uni. This gave me the opportunity to see my degree in a real-life environment and sparked my further interest in health, fitness and strength & conditioning.
Since graduating I have qualified as a fitness instructor and am currently working towards my level 3 personal trainer qualification.
Rosie Firth - Lead Sports Therapist
Health and fitness has been my passion since 2012 when I joined my university gym whilst studying Business Management at Sheffield Hallam University. I was fortunate to work with an amazing strength and conditioning coach, who taught me so much about the body, and gave me the tools to create some amazing results. Hungry to learn more, I qualified as a fitness instructor in 2014.
Over the years I pursued different types of exercise, but my progress was frequently impaired due to injury. Upon visiting a sports therapist for an injured knee, I had my eureka moment. This was the career I wanted. I subsequently signed up to study for my advanced diploma in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation and was in Manchester on the first day of my course just 6 days later. I haven’t looked back since.
I hope to complete my masters diploma in 2020 to enable me to bring an even higher level of sports therapy to my clients at Faultless.
Katie Lay - Marketing
I love the constant challenges that working with Faultless bring. Having such an amazing facility, with incredible clients and trainers, makes my job much easier!
You’re most likely to meet me milling about the office or gym, pretending to work whilst having a chat with our clients, taking sneaky pictures for our website, or getting sweaty doing a workout myself! Being a client of Faultless gives me a much better insight into how well we are working, and what we can do to improve the experience for all of our other clients.
I’m looking forward to big things in 2020 for Faultless, continuing to settle into our fantastic new facility, growing our relationship with the incredible St Michael’s Hospice, and discovering new ways to reach out to the people of Hereford!
